MV Philkade Liveaboard Itineraries

The Philkade will be doing mostly 5-day/ 6-night trips in Thai waters, some 9-day/ 10-night combination excursion into the Mergui Archipelago in Burma (Myanmar), and a few 6-day/ 7-night trips which include the Similan Islands, Koh Bon and Tachai, as well as Hin Daeng to the south of Phuket; a great all in one trip.

Thailand trips will visit the Similan Islands, Ko Bon, Ko Tachai, and the Surin Islands (Richelieu Rock). With five days and that extra night, it's the perfect amount of time to really see the best of Thailand's diving. And, you don't have to pay for that extra hotel night in Phuket--or hassle with it. You can go straight to the airport if you want since the last dive will be the day before return date. The longer trips will visit all the Thai destinations as above, plus the fabulous Mergui Archipelago and sometimes the Burma Banks depending on conditions and marine life sightings recently observed.

Thai National Park fees apply (400 THB per day plus 200 THB entry although this is subject to change). Prices include divemaster services, all meals, coffee and tea, linen, towels, hotel transfers, services on board, tanks, weights and belts. Prices also include airport transfers on day or departure and arrival (if arriving or departing on a different day, then only hotel transfers are included, not both). Prices do not include soft drinks or alcohol, personal diving equipment, or Nitrox fills ($6.00 US).

The immigration fee/ diving license for all Burma & Thailand trips is $200 US per person, although this is subject to change (US dollars only cash only--no Euro or any other currency accepted for this fee. This is the policy of the Burmese and not our policy). Please have this ready in US cash for immigration officials on the day of departure. Note: We can take no responsibility for scheduling or itinerary changes due to changing weather, political situations, natural disasters or other events beyond our control. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance for any kind of trip you do anywhere in the world. We also recommend that you have DAN or other diving accident insurance up to date and current in case of an unanticipated evacuation or other treatment that may not be covered by your regular insurance.
