What's Included?
Most charters are priced on a 24 hour basis. Prices usually include a qualified captain and crew, accommodation on board, coffee, tea, and bottled water, and all meals. Fees for drinks, any extras, and incidentals are collected at the end of the charter.
Dive charters include divemasters, tanks, weights, belts and air. Personal diving equipment is also included in the published prices. Nitrox is free on Siren.
Government park and port fees apply throughout Southeast Asia. Thai national park fees vary depending on which national park you visit. While many areas you may visit charge no fees, most national parks charge 200 to 400 THB per entry per person and some charge a daily fee in addition to this for scuba diving. There are also fees for entry into the Mergui Archipelago in Myanmar (Burma) and to the Andaman Islands in India. These range from $100 to $250 per person per entry (not per day). These fees vary depending on the boat and the length of time spent at these destinations. They are usually paid in cash upon boarding. No credit cards are accepted for these fees.
Diving is charged at €40 per dive, but these boats are not really designed for heavy heavy diving. This price includes all gear, compressor and divemaster. Another option for diving when visiting local places like Krabi, Phi Phi or even the southern islands near the Malaysian border is to use a local dive center. We book the dives for you, you pay directly to the operator, and the boat will pick you up at the last dive. You then continue on with your normal itinerary.
Note: We can take no responsibility for scheduling or itinerary changes due to changing weather, political situations, natural disasters or other events beyond our control. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance for any kind of trip you do anywhere in the world. We also recommend that you have current evacuation–or if planning on scuba diving, recompression insurance that your regular insurance may not cover. It is up to you to be aware of what your insurance covers and what it does not.
