How to Book a Dive Trip?
Since boats only take a certain number of passengers and since we do not overbook the boats, please follow the instructions below to book a dive trip. It's important to book in advance to ensure you get the trip you want.
1.
Decide on approximate dates you wish to come.
2.
Use our search engine above to get some idea of your options. For the most choices, only enter dates. To narrow your choices, choose length of trip, or destination. If nothing matches your criteria, go back and expand your options.
3.
From the results of your search, add your trip to our shopping cart, fill in the short form, and send it to us. We'll let you know if the trip has availability or not within 24 hours.
Where to find stuff on our website? We try hard to make our Thailand and Burma (Mergui - Myanmar) scuba diving website as easy to use as possible. We realize that not everyone uses the Web in the same way, so we have provided several different ways for you to find the information and the boat or destination you're looking for, fast and easy. If you want to make a specific request for availability on a trip, you must choose a particular trip from the boat schedules (click here for an example). The easiest way is to use our powerful search engine above. |
| 1) Use our website's integrated search function. |
Our liveaboard and trip schedules are fully searchable. Please use the bar above to choose exactly what you are looking for for a dive holiday. You can search by dates, destination, length of trip, and price. Above and to the right, you can search for any keywords within this website and get relevant pages. Try words such as "Similan", "Mergui" or "Liveaboards" or the name of a boat you're looking for like "Mermaid". |
| 2) Review the boats we offer in list form. |
Click on this link to get a list of boats sorted by destination, then name of the vessel in alphabetical order. If you are looking for a particular boat because it's been recommended by a friend, or you've seen an advertisement, this is the easiest way to find that vessel. The page will open in a new window so you can return here if necessary. Destinations include the popular Similan Islands; the famous Richelieu Rock; the many dive sites in the Mergui Archipelago; Hin Daeng or Phi Phi on our southern shores; or even the exotic Andaman Islands in India. |
| 3) Visit our dive sites area. |
If you haven't had the pleasure of diving in Thailand or Burma yet, this section of our website is a good place to start your research. It contains information which has been published in several books co-authored by John B Williams, but we provide it here online for free. If you have any questions about diving in this area, please email John directly. |
| 4) Review the boats we offer. [Normal View] [Flash View] |
We offer all kinds of boats in different price ranges and comfort levels. Some of the boats offer several itineraries, others stick to what they like to do. Some boats go to the dive sites in Thailand only, others travel further north to the fabulous Mergui Archipelago in Burma (Myanmar) and some venture all the way to India's Andaman Islands, a tremendous and once-in-a-lifetime itinerary. The choice you make will depend on where you've dived before, how many dives you have, how many days you have to travel, how adventurous you are, and what your budget is. We hope that we can find something to suit every need. If you are not sure what you're looking for, please email us and we will offer recommendations. |
