Comfort & Quality at a Reasonable Price
Colona VI takes 14 divers on board in a total of seven cabins. The cabins are spacious, not huge, but offer plenty of room for two people in each one. One of the cabins has a double bed, the other six cabins have twin bunk-beds. All cabins are en suite which means that they have their own private tastefully decorated and clean bathrooms and showers. Each cabin has a hidden small hotel-like refrigerator to keep your drinks cold. She supplies towels for the trip, and if you need extra towels, simply ask the helpful crew. The cabins also have wardrobes to store your clothes during the trip. All cabins are air conditioned from a central compressor adjusted by the crew on request. Reading lights are positioned above each bed and can be directed so they don't disturb your roommate.
A Fun, Social, Well-designed Diving Vessel
Her social area or saloon is outdoors in a covered deck area. This is where meals are served buffet style, and there are four separate seating areas for the group to spread out. Drink holders are provided so that end of day beer doesn't get spilled if the boat is moving about. The rear of the upper deck is a nicely designed shaded relaxing area where you can use the cushions provided to lay down, take a rest, read a book, or talk serious diving.
The diving deck is professionally organized with individual tank holders assigned to every diver, with plenty of storage below for your extra equipment. Tanks are filled in their places by competent crew and certified gas blenders. She has Nitrox as well as regular air tanks. She has circular tables near the tank storage area for keeping your dive computers safe and out of the way as well as a fresh water rinse tank for computers and photo equipment only.
