Built For Divers & Non Divers

Snorkelers have their own snorkeling guides and site briefings, and kids do treasure hunts on the islands! We welcome both children who are good or weak swimmers from 3-12 years old, as well as infants. Mom and dad don't have to worry about skipping dives to look after the children as the crew will do that for you. MV Oktavia is one of best maintained ships in the area. Everything works and looks good! One of the owners are always on board guaranteeing a high service level and quick resolution to problems if they occur.

Flexible Schedule & Itineraries

MV Oktavia offers three different cruise options: 2 days & 2 nights in the lower Similan Islands; 3 days & 2 nights in the upper Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Ko Tachai, and Richelieu Rock; or combine the two for 5 days & 5 nights throughout the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Ko Tachai, and Richelieu Rock. Transfers for shorter trips are done by speedboat; the five day trips depart and return by the ship.

Not Luxurious, But Comfy, Safe & Inexpensive

At 30m long and 6.5m wide, MV Oktavia is one of largest ships in the area. Yet, she never takes more than 24 guests, ensuring ample space for everyone and no cramped areas. Her nine standard cabins (called "Blue Ocean") are roomy, tidy and neat, come equipped with central air-conditioning as well as a fan, and have large windows offering plenty of natural light and a wonderful view of the Andaman Sea and the islands.

The four fully-tiled shared bathroom and shower combinations are of European style and standard and come equipped with hot water showers. The two Master Suites, have double beds, a reading and lounge chair (pipe smoking only allowed outside, but bring your slippers), and private bathrooms. Sorry, no fireplace, but then again, no shoveling snow either.
