The MY Panunee Liveaboard Details

Panunee Liveaboard Features and Benefits

From the moment you arrive at Panunee, wonderful things begin to happen. MY Panunee is a 32-meter long liveaboard dive boat offering leisurely scuba diving adventures. She is constructed and managed by a professional team who truly realize a diver’s needs and desires. She is a steel boat with an aluminum superstructure to keep the weight low and the ride smooth.

With comfortable, clever and practical interior design, you'll immediately feel comfortable and relaxed. Comfort and safety for you, our guests, is the priority of our team and our famous Thai hospitality will help make your cruise fun and enjoyable.

Comfortable Accommodation

Eight private cabins and the two en suite cabins are located on both the main and lower decks. Each has an individually controlled air conditioner and plenty of storage space. She can take 22 if the boat is completely full, but for individual bookings and not charters, she keeps the number at only 20 to make everyone a bit more comfortable–and to free up one cabin for all passengers common usage as a photography room.

The boat has pristine bathrooms so you'll always feel clean and refreshed. Thai people take about five showers daily, so if you want to be Thai while you’re here visiting and partake in this wonderful, practical, common practice, Panunee’s watermaker will always ensure you have plenty of fresh water no matter how long your voyage is.

The wide sundeck forward features a padded bed where you can lay down or sit with a cool refreshing drink and soak up the sun. You will get hospitable and personalized service from our professional boat crew and divemasters to make your vacation an enjoyable life-long memory.

Built by Photographers for Photographers

The large well-equipped dive deck allows more comfortable gearing up. Since our team has over ten-years of experience in catering to underwater photographers from all over the world, we know what you need and what you expect. We provide plenty of space and adequate illumination to work on your cameras comfortably so you never miss that perfect shot you’re looking for underwater. With built in 110 and 220V electrical outlets throughout the vessel and a large photo station on the dive deck, you'll never run out of room no matter how many serious photographers we have aboard.

Our specially designed multimedia room, the “Hong Andaman”, comes complete with audio and video facilities and even a slide projector and screen for formal or informal slide shows. Remember those? This is a quiet air-conditioned room where you can work and relax in peace.

Staterooms also Built by Photographers for Photographers

Our dining room, "Hong Similan", is where you'll enjoy specially prepared meals from our chef, who specializes in Thai, Chinese, Japanese and European menus. Throughout you’re journey your taste buds will be simulated and never bored.

On the main deck we feature two en suite studio staterooms with private bathrooms. On this deck are also four large deluxe cabins with shared bathrooms just across the aisle for complete convenience. The cabins can be much larger and more comfortable with the shared bathroom concept.

On the lower deck we have five more deluxe cabins with the bathrooms up a short flight of stairs.

Photographers may want to book the large suite cabins for extra space if you’re carrying a lot of gear. Each studio stateroom provides full facilities for your camera or video equipment including 110V & 220V sockets for battery chargers, wide space and table for camera or video housing preparation, air blow guns and enough illumination for housing preparation and fine detail work.

Panunee is fitted with Nitrox filling, individual gear storage areas on the dive deck, fresh towels after diving, five camera rinsing stations, an air bank storage system with four fill hoses, and two 4.3 meter dinghies for diver pick up and beach explorations. The dive platform is wide and has well designed ladders for easy entries and exits.
