Well Designed with Plenty of Space
SY Asia is fully air-conditioned and perfectly laid out for charter with endless amounts of space. We designed SY Asia specifically for luxury adventure charters in some of the remotest parts of South East Asia. Guest accommodation aboard SY Asia is in five luxurious staterooms:
- 2 staterooms have king size double beds
- 2 staterooms can be configured with either twin beds or king size double beds to suit the guest requirements
- 1 stateroom has twin beds
All cabins have en suite shower and toilet and individual air conditioning controls, 220v power sockets, LCD screens, wardrobe and drawers. Each cabin has its own en suite bathroom complete with shower, electric toilet and 220V power socket.
SY Asia combines superior quality snow-white cottons for all the sheets, pillow cases and duvets aboard combined with decorative pure Thai silk. The best quality bath and swim towels are provided.
SY Asia has a huge teak deck, and a large, comfortable, shaded cockpit area with twin dining tables that seat 10 guests. The enormous saloon comes complete with a large dining table which seats 10 guests, a lounge, an office area with PC, broadband Internet connection and a wet bar which is fully stocked with a fridge, coffee and cappuccino machine, a wide variety of teas, chocolates and cookies.

There are limited yachting facilities in the Indian Ocean, so SY Asia was designed with the capability to operate offshore for periods of six months at a time and has a 6,500 nautical mile cruising range under power. We give our guests very special experiences in places that no one else can get to, just name the spot. The yacht is finished to a “super-yacht” standard and is fully MCA compliant.
Cuisine aboard SY Asia
We pride ourselves on the cuisine served aboard SY Asia during each and every charter. We try to cater to suit every palette and use only the freshest ingredients available in the local areas in which we operate. Cuisine served aboard SY Asia is a variety of Thai and European dishes combined with a wide variety of the freshest seafood.
Breakfast is served as a buffet and includes a selection of fresh fruits in season, yogurts, cereals, freshly baked croissants or raisin breads, toast, teas, coffees and fruit juices. Also available are bacon, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, chef’s omelets (filled with a choice of cheese, bacon, ham, mushrooms, tomatoes or smoked salmon). Enjoy a naughty breakfast from time to time with the chefs wonderful pancakes prepared plain or stuffed with banana and served with honey and lemon.
Lunch aboard SY Asia is typically light as the weather is generally hot. The noon meal consists of a wonderful variety of fresh salads, seafood salads, satays, freshly made spring rolls, quiches, home made breads and sashimi and sushi when the fishing has been successful.
Evening meals are the main meal of the day aboard and guests are spoilt by the chef. Expect to be tantalized with large tiger prawns in garlic and oyster sauce on a bed of pineapple and coriander jasmine rice, spicy hot basil fish cakes, the catch of the day prepared whole on a charcoal fire, traditional Thai green curry served in baked whole coconuts, sirloin steaks cooked to perfection, marinated chicken flatties, pork roastlets wrapped in bacon topped with pineapple and cherries. A wide selection of vegetables, breads and specialty rice dishes compliment the menu. Your chef will also prepare deserts, cakes, cookies, snacks, Irish coffees and a unique blend of tropical sunset cocktails for you to enjoy during your charter.
Your Hosts
SY Asia is crewed by her dedicated owners, Paul and Debbie, as captain and chef. They both have a superb reputation and 12 years experience chartering in Southeast Asia. They are co-authors of the Andaman Sea Pilot–the definitive navigational guide for the area–and write a wide variety of destination based articles for international publications. They are experienced sailors, divers and adventurers who will pamper you and take care of your every need.
